My doctor mentioned that these are often useful in losing weight if your thyroid is slow, which mine is. Does anyone have any experience with those? What about the diet pill Phentermine?

I take Phentermine and it works very well but it will make you thirsty as it should because you should be drinking more water anyway. Diet pills whether prescription (better and actually cheaper) or over the counter work best with exercise and eating right.

You can take all the phentermine you want but if you don't change certain habits it will only have a very limited effect and any weight lost will return with a vengance.

Never drink another soda again even diet sodas because the carbonated water alone is bad for you much less the fructose with regular drinks and no Sobe either (why gyms sell this i'll never understand) one bottle of Sobe has the same calories as a king size butterfinger bar. Drink water, milk (calcium and protein help burn fat) and juice that is 100% natural like Juicy Juice. Don't drink alcohol but if you must drink then stay away from beer even the lights and ultras. Wine is okay but in moderation so choose dessert or a riesling.

I have been taking phentermine for about 2 months and i have lost 10 lbs and i don't get to exercise like i used to (God i miss that) due to my job. I also recommend eating a LOT of fiber because it will fill you up and snacking on fruits and nuts.

One trick your body plays on you is sometimes your tummy says hungry when it's actually thirsty and sometimes your tummy says hungry but it's because you're lacking a certain nutrient. Make your meals light but well rounded include all 4 food groups if possible.
