The cable cord to screw into the back of my tv is too short to reach, so i was wondering whether there are extension cords to fit the cable and then to connect to the tv. The cable is the circle with the tiny metal rod sticking out in the middle. Any clue?

You can buy a 6 foot length and an attachement from Radio Shack or any other electronic component store. The attachement is a female barrel threaded at both ends so you can join the two male ends together.

You can buy longer TV cables many places. Radio Shack, many hardware stores, probably even WalMart. Get the length of cable you need and a connector, or barrel as I call it. This connector will connect the ends of the two cables together to make one long one. This shouldn't affect your picture at all unless it's very weak to start with. If it were, you'd already notice some noise or snow or static in the picture. There shouldn't be any problem. If you don't see what you need, just ask any of the salespeople.

You can also add length to your cable with a "barrel connector" which allows you to connect two cables together. They are available at Radio Shack and other electronic supply stores.
