It might take you a while to get over this. But if she doesn't love you anymore, and is with someone else....do you really want her back?

My best friend is in the exact same situation. You just have to talk with her and discuss getting back together. If she says she's in love with someone there's nothing you can do. And if she says she wants to stay friends that's just her way of making herself feel better for treating you like crap. All you can do is move on with your life. Eventually you'll find someone else who's way better for you and you two will live happily ever after...

Sorry mate.. takes two hands to clap. If you love her but she doesnt love you, you only have two choice:

- let her go
- try to chase her back

I would prefer option one since women.. once they leave, usually there is no turning back.. especially if they initiate it..

But if you feel you cannot be best friends with her if she cannot be your gf, you can let her know and just stay away to cool down... till you are ready, you can contact her again..

Remind her why you love her. Hope that she sees what her younger man lacks compared to you. Stick around, understand her, don't become too clingy or available. That's about it. If she wants you back she'll get you back. But don't waste too much time trying, usually this is a lost cause.

If you really love her, respect her decision. there is no point to force somebody to love you when they actually don't love you anymore. You can find somebody better than her while you carry on with your life.

she's straight forward with you, what else do you want? i don't know why as ppl we tend to cling on to those who do not want to have anything to do with us, it almost like some ppl like to get dogged...where is your self worth? she doesnt want to be with you...so why keep hangin on. your doing nothing but holding yourself back...while she's movin on...how fun is that? you need to get on with your life...stop acting as if it's the end of the world...do yourself a favor and get over it.

you have to move on. she did the right thing by letting you know how she felt. respect that you cant make her want and love you again.
