*laugh* all of mine do & I have 4 large dogs!!
I find it happens most when they have eaten a full meal & then get active immediately after... some dog foods lend to this more than others, & it is not necessarily a sign of poor quality dog food (I feed Pedigree, which gives my dogs a beautiful, lustrous coat & good weight)
Some dogs gulp air when they eat (if you have a dog that 'inhales' its food) & some foods have ingredients that 'mix well' with your dog (kind of like beans & most men!)
If all they do is fart, it is not something to be worried about, just annoyed. If they experience regurgitation or bloating, however, contact your vet for a consult.

Are you feeding him a food with alot of fiber? No kidding, this can cause glassiness. Check the fiber content, more then 3% can cause gas.
Also, consider if you are on a rich food such as California Natural, Wellness Chicken, Ennova ECT switching to a less rich premium food such as Wellness Duck or Rabbit or Eukanuba. Eukanuba gets a bad rep but it is a good food if your dog cannot handle a richer food. Ignore PETA btw, they are extremists....they dont even beleive dogs should be domesticated...LOL
Also that site, Animals Ark is not crediable. It says Corn Gluten Meal is a carb....its a plant derived protein. Just a heads up.

Maybe it's the small dogs that fart a lot. A friend of mine had a Maltese that farted constantly and smelly ones too. My dog almost never farts, she's a whopping 50lbs.

My canine become farting alot too what i found out become in maximum dry canine nutrition they use what I call filler nutrition to maintain the the nutrition greater wellness on your canine some examples are corn and different leafy vegetables which canines in simple terms like people have a perplexing time digesting those and become gasy i alter my canine to a nutrition that doesnt have those in it and it doesnt fee anymore than clinical weight loss application its call Orijen and that's thoroughly created from meats and no filler meals yet verify such as your vet i need to be something else as your canine is older and maybe you replaced to the senior kind and its made a splash diverse formula than the unique wish this helps reliable success

its likely what you are feeding. any food that lists corn as the FIRST ingredient will make your dog fart. switch to a better food, your dog will eat less and fart less. my dogs still fart but not nearly as much as when i fed them grocery store food.

No, but I have a cat that farts, and his tail goes all the way to his head and he gets scared, then he jumps meowing, LOUD! I think your dog likes it, because I think he laughs or likes it, or maybe he likes to see you laugh at it.

If you truly listen when a dog farts, you will become enlightened.
