my chiwawa will only eat cat food and my cat likes dog food but will eat eithor hes only a puppy barly 2 months old

Keep the cat food away from the puppy. It is not nutritionally correct for the dog. It just tastes better because of the added flavoring to coax cats to eat it.
Keep the cat away from the dog food. Dog food is lacking a major nutrient for cats and they will die on a diet of dog food.

Your **Chihuahua** can not have cat food - it is not healthy for him. Hence the reason for cat food and dog food. Cats need more protein then dogs. Dogs who eat cat food get fat, along with having deficiencies in vitamins and minerals that they need. A fat dog is prone to other diseases and health issues. Get the dog on puppy food until it is altered, then on a regular maintenance food suggested by your vet.

You need to find a dog food he will like and put the cat food up where he cannot get to it. He needs puppy food. It will have the nutrients it needs.

Start feeding it dog food right away. Cat food has way too much protein in it, and it will cause kidney failure. Start mixing soft and dry dog food together and the dog will eat it if it's hungry enough.

Vets have told me not to let my dog eat cat food or fish products. This goes for all dogs, including Chihuahuas.

Your chihuahua will only eat dog food if that's what you give it!! Cat food is formulated for cats and is not a good choice for dogs.

cat food has to much fat for dogs, you should begin mixing cat food with dog food and every few days take a lil more cat food out and add a lil more dog food until that is all he eats, eventually he will eat nothing but dog food -

Cat food is very very high in protine and will cause kidney failure in dogs as it gets rid of the excess protine. Stop feeding cat food
