There is this guy at my school that I really really really like...like, very close to love, like. The thing is, my friend likes him too. She always likes the guys I like, and just this once, I want him. So much. She's just much more 'out there' when it comes to flirting! I don't want to confront her or anything. And I am willing to lose this friendship for this guy. Because she's done a lot of terrible things to me, and this is it. He seems kinda freaked out by her sometimes, and I know he likes me. What can I do?

First you need to get this so call friend out of your life. If someone does terrible things to you, they're not your friend and you don't need to be around them. There's no need to confront her. That wouldn't do any good. This girl may not really like this guy and is only flirting with him because she knows you like him. Just be yourself. Be warm and friendly with this guy because you want a friendship with him and not because you're trying to keep your ex-friend away. He'll have to do that. Maybe you and he can got to the library and study or do homework or maybe you can help each other with a school project. That'll give you both a chance to know one another better and you can take your friendship from there.

Approach him, but don't be "out there", like your (hopefully)soon-to-be ex-friend. If he's freaked out by how she acts, then you know how not to be around him. When you work up enough courage, get his number and just talk to him; laugh and have fun. What happens, happens.

Good luck; with the cute guy and the "friend" who isn't worth your time.
