First off you don't have any real argument except that it annoys you. I think crossing the street is a lot easier than banning smoking all together or complaining about it. I don't know about where you live but around where I live they banned all indoor smoking and everyone has to smoke outside 25' away from any entrance. But before this there were different types of bars, regular bars and smoke free bars, and it wasn't hard to avoid smokers. So why should over half the country give up something they enjoy doing just because you don't want your hair and clothes to smell like smoke? edit: why should smokers have to leave if they light up near you? Just move. And what gives you the right to lecture parents about how THEY raise THEIR kids. You're contradicting yourself by telling people they should smoke in their own homes but they're bad people if they have kids around. Now you're just preaching. edit: you have rights but why do your rights out weigh those of people who smoke?

I understand how you feel. I will just give you some ideas that help me when I get like that.

-BREATHE (I just learned that by breathing in through your nose so your tummy sticks out and hold it,
counting to 4 or 6 then breathe out through your mouth, you will actually interrupt and change your brain to turn off the flight or fight response!)
-Eat well - 3 meals.
-Exercise - makes you feel better
-take a bath
-call a support line (you don't have to wait until you are suicidal!)
-call to find info referrals in your area. There are places that will help you for free to deal with your immediate situation. Ask for help with house cleaning, depression support,

Well it sounds like you have a problem with anxiety/stress. I think you should take it easy for awhile. The insomnia could be from stress or anxiety too. The "eratic sleeping cat naps" could be from the insomnia because you probably aren't sleeping well at night. Like I said before just try taking it easy for awhile.

You are suffering from depression/panic disorder sweetie. See your doctor. Their are many effective medications available that can help you. It can take 2-4 weeks for these drugs to take effect -- so be patient. Continuing with counseling will also help.

Focus on the small accomplishments. Take one thing at a time. Complete a small task today and be thankful for it. Turn the rest of your burdens over to the Lord.

It sounds like you suffer from depression and should be evaluated by your family physician or internist who may be able to get you on the right medication and/or make a referral to the right specialist.
