Yeah, no one commits more crimes so passionately than someone with an all powerful, all knowing, and all good God on their side right?; Supposedly. How can you argue with such a figure even if he commands you to blow up buildings and slaughter the mentally ill?

I think people bring the worst out. Don't even need to blame a religion. Religion is supposed to incur order and peace. Those two factors are at the core of most religions.

Truth in your words, brotha (or sista), you right! Ignore anyone who gives you sarcasic remarks or tells you you're wrong, because they're just conservative asswipes.

Religion has caused nothing but trouble. People always say, "Imagine a world without . Wouldn't it be terrible?" Yeah right! So many bad things wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for a bunch of stupid fanatics. Your god(s) aren't here, they are never going to be! Even if there is a god, I really doubt that he/she/it would want to have anything to do with inferior beings who are actually willing to give up something as precious as their own life for trivial things such as what church you go to.

Religion is nothing but a c u m stain on the bedsheets on society, and that's one that can't be washed out either. Sucks, don't it?

religion brings out the worst in some bad people

it brings out the best in good people

religion - on it's own - is neither good nor bad - it takes humans to make something of it

they can either make it joyful and celebratory and peaceful and comforting - or they can make it ugly and mean-spirited and unpleasant

no stupid idiot. if you have found the right religion and you live by it then it will most of the time bring out the best in you. try Christianity. it is the most wonderful religion.
