I'm going to be redecorating my bedroom and my walls are going to be black and red. I was wondering what color carpet would match these colors?

Personally - for resale value only - I'd buy a neutral color carpet for the wall to wall, than I'd put an area rug on top of that to go with the room. Area rugs come in a great variety of colors and it should be relatively easy to find one with a contemparary red and black theme.

Hardwood. You can get the prefinished kind for around the same $$$ as good carpeting! Looks nicer, easy to clean and won't wear out like carpet will. Check into it!
As far as color goes, I'd say the light "bleached" look would be dramatic looking w/ the black & red, a warm maple look would look great too.

I love black and red especially used in home decor. But, it is possible to overkill and take away from the dramatic effect of the colors. A great complimentary color that will make the black and red walls pop is a deep slate gray or charcoal.

Black and red, huh ? Well to each his own LOL. I would say your basic white (but that would show the dirt quickly), or grey, or perhaps you could find a carpet with both of those colors in it.

well if the majority of ur walls are black then red carpet and if the majority of the walls r red then black carpet!!

are you sure youwant to paint anything but furniture black....that can be very contemporary and good looking????? You have no choice but to go to a gray commercial flat look.....or a gray-tan look, but keep some of the gray color with blacks and reds..

I gotta say that If you don't want black carpet, go for beige, its neutral (goes with everything) and It want show dirt as much as white

I seriously recommend yellow, or golden. if you don't like this color, you can try gray, these two go very well with red and black
