hey!
I've had the same dilema is you. Some simple solutions:
+you could possibly get a "wave" put in, which means after your shower, towel dry hair and then just put some mousse/gel in your hair-scrunch & go. It's a cute look that can be very versatile. I had one done and i thought I'd hate it but now I love it and couldn't imagine NOT having one!

+Also, you could have some layers put in your hair to frame your face or some wispy side bangs. The layers will add volume/bounce and give you a trendier look.

+Lastly, you could get one of those round brushes and after blow drying your hair comb through your hair using the brush-focusing on your ends. It will give it a sort of "curled under" or "Curled out" look. Simple-yes but it'll do.

and hairspray is a must for curls, plus it helps to keep fly-a-ways in place!

hope that helped :)

Well have you tried hair spray? Curl your hair with the curling iron, then load it up with hair spray. If this fails to work, or you have already attempted & failed, visit your stylist/hairdresser and get some tips from them. Obviously they could help you more than anyone on this site, being able to see & work with your hair.

To keep your hair in a curl just wash and condition like you normally would. Brush your hair while it's still wet and rub in some gel. If your hair is especially stubborn(like mine) use extra hold gel exp- Suave sport mega hold. Put it in curlers and sleep with them(i kno its uncomfterbl but it works)In the morning unroll them carefully and spray with hairspray.

You might want to consider a layered cut like Jennifer Anniston.
