Well use what you two have in common... French. If you feel this strong connection with her, tell her! What's the worst that can happen? You'll graduate and if she rejects you, you'll forget her, and if she accepts, well maybe you'll have a long-lasting relationship. If you wanted to ask her out someplace say:
"Je voudrais aller au cinema avec toi"
See how she responds, but for your own sake, don't say it in class, she might just think you're doing an assignment or something. Meet her in the hallway.

You're so sweet. Go for it, I don't see how she can turn you down. Ask her on a date and to prom. You don't really have anything to lose here because neither of you talk to each other much right now. Ask her out, it will probably be the best thing you do all year.

YES
You are obviously a sensitive, mature 17 year old boy with a case of self-doubt. Guess what? Everyone has self-doubt. The only way to find out if she is interested in you is to express your interest in her. Say, "voulez-vous manger avec moi pour dejuner" or something like that....ask her to join you for lunch. Or see if she uses IM and try humor....you'd be amazed how quickly two people who are shy in person can get comfortable with each other using technology like IM. This stuff didn't exist when I was in HS. I wish it had! We had to pass notes! Go for it.

Yes and yes, do it, ask her out, this will be the first of many encounters with the opposite sex. I know it is scary asking women out, but what is more scary, being 31 years old and typing into a computer all alone regretting that you did not ask a girl out that you were attracted to in High School.(Not referring to me) Do not do it man, ask her out, weather you do go out with her or not does not really matter, what matters is that you tried, which is a lot better than not trying and regretting what could of been...

You should ask her out to the prom, that'll make her happy if you ask. You're going through the same thing I'm going through. I actually like a guy in my french class and he likes me too.

YOURE SO FREAKIN LUCKY. She is attracticted to you. By reading this you are she want in a man. Go for it. HAVE CONFIDENCE AND DONT RUSH THINGS. It looks like its gonna work out great. Either show you affection now or ask her to the prom then go on from there. I wish i was in your position.

Start with "I'm a shy guy. I like you, and don't know how to say it. I would love to take you to dinner."
Keep it simple, don't intellectualize it to death, don't have the whole relationship in your head. Save those wonderful observations for when you want to write her long love letters after you've started dating. But you have to get the date first!

By all means. Invite her to the prom and if that's too distant in the future, ask her to a movie.

Forget it, If she is blonde and she looks so good that you have a crush on her, she can do better than you. You will have more success if you pay attention to girls who like you.
