When I comb my kitties and stick the fleas I catch to a lint roller paper, many of them manage to wiggle free.

Just so you know, the cats have been bathed and treated with Frontline. (The fleas no longer mind the neem powder that is organic.) We set off 6 "flea bombs" in the house two weeks ago, so this weekend we will do it again. I've also ordered some Frontline spray from the Internet. We vacuum every day and throw the bags away every day.
The one cat who goes outside during the day, has only a few occasional fleas. The "homebody" has more than a few.

If you value yours & your cat's lives CEASE & DESIST with those toxic flea bombs!! They are deadly & you will all develop health problems from them. They're esp. deadly to pets. Flea collars are toxic too! There are many NON TOXIC flea products that will work...the flea sticky papers are used as a guide to how far the flea population has diminished after treating for them, not as an eradication tool. I could tell you horror stories of people I know whose health has been ruined because of bug bombs...and their pet's. There's one product I know of called "Orange Guard" and another called "Kleen Free" that can safely eliminate fleas & other pests. Bathing your cats, combing the "nits" out and vacuuming daily as you use the products will get rid of the fleas but it won't happen overnight. You can try one of those sonic pest removers as an added help. Vacuuming, laundering everything including pet bedding and steam cleaning your carpets & drapes are all necessary to rid your home of fleas. Make sure you change the bag every time you vacuum & dispose of it in 2 knotted garbage bags. Fleas lodge in every crack & crevice, so be vigilant! I wish you much luck!!!

Yes.. they do work but that is not the SOLUTION to a flea problem. The solution would be to bath the kitties(if they like water or will allow you to bathe them in water).. a flea shampoo.. that is.... and a flea spray to be used on where they sleep... Then again.. do the same thing a week later because the first time you will kill the fleas but the eggs will hatch a week later and so the second spraying/bathing will kill the newly hatched fleas

Yes. The animal shelter I work at has them everywhere. We have to go in and out, in and out, and so on so we can walk dogs, clean, etc. The door is hardly ever shut, exept for in extreme heat or cold. They work perfectly; especially the big ones for larger bugs. If they don't work, however, just try giving them a warm water bath using flea shampoo. *Make sure you check the back and see how old they have to be. Or, you can call your local or trusted vet. Good luck!
