Bake. It means use the oven in your stove, the entire chamber heated by the bottom element. It is longer, slower cooking ("baking").
Conventional oven means not microwave, and not convection oven.
Certainly not broil! The top would burn before the rest heated and cooked through.
Broil means using the top heating element in your oven, with the food rather close to it. It is for quick cooking and browning of the external surfaces (as previous posters have stated, like steak, or fish).
Preheat the oven, and wait until it signals that it has reached the desired temp, before putting the food in!

You would bake the Lasagna. Just make sure you set the proper temperature and time. Follow the directions on the package. You should have no problems.
The broil setting is used for steaks, fish. It is the highest setting on the oven. Very Hot!! Hope this helps. RLJ

Cooking is not an exact science, due to many variables such as size and
quantity of food, temperature of food when first put in the oven, etc.
Convection cooking takes place due to the forced flow of hot air, thus saving energy
by cooking approximately 25-30% more quickly than conventional ovens.
Foods lose less moisture and retain nutrients.
The internal temperature in the convection oven is easily regulated since the
fan keeps the hot air constantly circulating so the food cooks uniformly.
The following are general guidelines for converting conventional recipes
for use in a convection oven. *

Conventional oven cooking is usually the ovens that are in most homes. They are either electric or gas. they only produce heat & it rises to the food (on broil it is on top). A convection oven has an electric or gas heat source but in addition, it has blowers to blow the heat on the food. but if it is conventional oven go ahead like the other suggested
