It is not wrong at all to go fishing on Sunday. Neither Jesus nor His apostles ever taught us to observe Sunday. The only day that Bible, teach us to honor, is the seventh day Saturday, not the 1st day Sunday.
I recommend reading a pocket book ‘Is Sunday Really Sacred’ by Joe Crews. Go to following site to read it. http://amazingfacts.org/items/Read_Media.asp?ID=652&x=20&y=23
Also you can listen answers on questions like,
Why do Christians attend church on Sunday?
Is the 7th day Sabbath a ceremonial feast day listed in Leviticus?
Is it a sin to not work on the first day of the week?
and many other related questions. Here is the link. http://www.amazingfacts.org/media/radio/question_archive.asp?tName=Sabbath

It isn't wrong, but many may see it as improper. Based on your calender, Monday is thee first day of the week. The faithful put aside one day for God as a time to worship, and to fellowship with others that are like-minded. Remember the time of the creation. God took the 7th day to look back on what he'd made. For us, it's Sunday. For others it's Saturday. The way I see it, it doesn't matter what day. Just like you take some time to so fishing, you have to take time for church. Is church only open on Saturday?

If you don't go to church you cant be apart of the click and if you are not apart of the click you are a bad person. That is the nature of organized religion.Sad isn't it.

I'd rather be at the lake thinking about God than in some church thinking about the lake...

It's not. And by the way He made us fishers of men, not trout.
