Koreans have been eating kimchi for centuries. It's probably their most well-known dish. If you are not familiar with it, it is a spicy fermented cabbage dish. It is much better than it sounds! It's also an aquired taste. Koreans eat it at practically every meal as a side dish. They also use it in dishes like soup. I actually asked a question here for recipes on how to make it. If you don't want to make it yourself, go to a Korean restaurant. You can even buy it in jars at many grocery stores, usually in the produce section.
