I would say that's true. I was thinking about that the other day when my atheist brother brought up the whole crutch thing. Crutches are wonderful, when I broke my knee cap they kept me walking.

True on the first one, but atheism also teaches about the cruelties of mankind. We just acknowledge that it's up to humans to better humankind. Not some sky wizard.

I feel religion is a crutch...Atheism says true...Christianity tells people to hide their eyes and "have faith" so they won't notice that it's true.

as much as I hate to agree, your right, it teaches u that we aren't perfect, and we need god (aka "the crutch") to help us along. I kinda like having a "crutch" as you call it to help me along and give me some hope at times,....I guess my glass is half full!
