If he exists, then why does he not show himself? Why do we need to believe, when the men that tell us about God are themselves untrustworthy?

God can't show himself because he does not exist. He was invented by humans who had not yet learned about scientific inquiry and needed explanations for what they saw and knew too little to understand. Later governments found God a convenient way to keep most people poor, ignorant, and quiet - especially quiet.
If he existed he would stop the head games and show himself openly. And stop the incredibly horrible things being done in his name. "Faith" is just a term that is used to justify believing the unbelievable. And shutting up opposition.

Why doesn't He show Himself?
Ever been to the Grand Canyon? Monument Valley or just a Sunrise or a Sunset on the beach? A river, flowers, stars, people's faces, people suffering, the birth of a child? That is how the Creator Shows His Face every day to us.
Religion was invented by men. God Has always been there.
In one word you can describe the Face of God: Universe.
His way of reaching down to us? LOVE

God, as defined by the men who wrote the supposed holy books, was created to control the population and to make them content with a **** life, because they were told they would find their happiness in heaven if they accepted the crap that the leaders dished out to the populace. A higher spirit exists, and appears to all of us in the magnificent life around us.

Does air exist? Your question is like that. Ok don"t believe God or your elders and where will you go? when u do something wrong do you hear an inner voice? That is God. God gave you your mother, father brothers and sisters . trees .flowers. sky. son .moon mountains. sea and life. Can"t you see God in any one of them? See and feel .

I think a lot of it was to control people who believe in him. Parts about his story are probably true, but the part where he made earth and all life is a bunch of bull. Different religions worship different gods. Gods story is really really dumb, not to insult any gods but some of them have some weird *** storeys, if they even exist. I sorta follow the Buddhist religion my self but not fully.

Throughout history, billions of people in the world have attested to their firm, core convictions about God's existence based on their personal relationship with God. Millions today could give detailed account of their experience with God. No one but God knows why he chooses to not Prove his existence.

God is as real as u are. Do u say I can't see the wind so I don't believe it, it is the same with God. Although God does not come to earth physically he shows his prescence by performing miracles and influencing our lives to His glory.
We must ask God wether He is there and to show himself to us with our whole heart.

THE GOVERNMENT thats what has control of us!!! what if i told u that 90% of our government was Atheist yea thats a shocker huh? an that USA was founded on Jesus Christ thats why we are the best country an live full an happy lives. The government just keeps getting richer off cigs, beer, taxes, etc... the outcome is that government is the smartest an supreme beings of human race.

I've never seen him but surely have felt him many a times he comes to me in different way, as my friend as an ongoer in the raod etc..
can you see feeling - you can only understand them
can you see hunger- you can only feel it
Similarly god is not here to solve our miseries - but he can give strength to solve miseries.
He is with in our self - he is our true self - once you close your eyes and try to look into yourself for him you understand why he exists
