Firstly, thank you for being respectful. :)

I believe you are referring to Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon Him) is the last prophet sent by Allah (God). He was sent to confirm the previous prophets before him from Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, etc (peace be upon them) and also to bring to all of mankind the final word of Allah (God) which is the Holy Quran. To unite mankind so that they may worship none other than Allah and associate no partners with Him.
Allah has been mentioned in all the Holy scriptures but with different names. But they all refer to only One God and the same God who is Allah.

He earned his living as a trader and was known by his people as "Al-Amin," the trustworthy one. Muhammad was very religious, and he had always detested the decadence and idolatry of his society.

At the age of forty, Muhammad received his first revelation from God/Allah through the Angel Gabriel. The revelations continued for twenty-three years, and they are collectively known as the Quran. He began denounce the idolatry of the Arabic society and to preach Islam which calls for faith in only one God, Who is the only one worthy of worship...... {you can read the rest of this article at http://members.tripod.com/oum_abdulaziz/WhoWasMohd1.htm}

if you are referring to Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him)
then, he's the last and final prophet and messenger of God to be sent to humanity.
God revealed to him the Quran which is the 4th and last book to be revealed from God after the Torah, Psalms and the Gospel.
