I am selling my Honda Accord. I was wondering what paperwork I need to fill out with DMV and does anyone have a generic contract that I can fill out.

you should send in the notice of sell to protect yourself, and fill out a bill of sale. You might be able to find a contract at your stationary store, but its probably a waste of time. :)

All the documents you need to sell a car in CA are on the DMV website www.dmv.ca.gov I would say the most important document would be the release of liability. Good luck.

All you need to do is sign over the pink slip.
Be sure you have the address and name of the buyer and urge him to have the transfer made immediately (or go to the DMV with him and have it done on the spot).
