Because now we have video cameras, TV, and other ways of verifying whether he actually did those things or not. And God is very camera shy.

SHe does...We foolish humans ignore the simple stuff, like how was it that both Towers were only 1/8th full on a day and time it should have been full? Why were so many people missing flights in traffic that should have cleared earlier? Hundreds of people changed ttheir minds or cancelled altoghther travel plans.....Lots of little miracles..and don't ask why God let it happen, She didn't..we allowed free will to happen, she saved as many as she could!

He does, to those who believe and trust in the word faithfully, he may not do it in your time, but he does come through. He shows favor when we confess our sins and ask for forgiveness and accept Jesus as being the son of God, who died for our sins and rose on the third day. We can not live the way we want to just because of our fleshly selfish ways, and expect him to bless us or show us favor.
The mystical thing he has done for you, is woke you up this morning, did you thank him?

Becuase this generation is perverse and muchmuchmuchmuchmuch x infiniti farther from God than the people of the Bible were.
Theres miracles still done,just not as impresive as the ones in the bible.

he kind of grew up and got sick of showing off. Or he got tired of all the smiting. OR the bible is a collection of rantings by 2000-year old barbarians that has been heavily edited over the ages.

He does (Fatima, even now in Medugorje) but, people prefer not to believe and the Media does not show all the miracles done they just scoff and show the goofy things (grilled cheese Virgin Mary)

All that stuff is based on faith, People want healing, and waters to part, the blind to see and so forth.
the bible says in John chapters 14,15 and 16 that whatever the believer asks it will happen.
Jesus said if you have faith whatever you ask for will come to pass. Those things don't happen because the Christians who ask for them really have no faith.
