we have some mini baguette loaves in the fridge. they have become hard, and i was wondering if i can use them by sprinkling some water on them? is there anything i can do to make the bread soft?

If it remains too stale to enjoy after you soften it in the microwave....cut into slices and make french toast out of it.

Wet a clean cloth (like a wash cloth or something), place it over the bread, and heat both in the oven for a couple minutes. The water will soak back into the bread with the heat, and it will stay fresh a day or two longer.

Refigerating bread makes it go stale quicker. You're better off freezing it next time . You might be able to pop in the oven for 5-10 minutes at about 350 or so.

sprinkle a small amount of water on the bread .put the bread in a air tight bag ( paper or plastic) throw it in microwave for about 2 min or till soft///

Pop it into the microwave dear - but eat it quickly after wards.

soak them in cider to make them soft again, it may take a few minutes though
