I am a first-year University student and taking intermediate French this year as an extra module. One of my goals is to be able to speak fluent french & also to retain a full french certificate of competence by the time I graduate. I was wondering if there are any fluent French speakers out there who are willing to help me improve my French through MSN messenger. It's very nice to learn any foreign language and
I used to live in Paris as a local but,I'm not qualified to teach the language,teaching is
art and talent and the person must be trained
to teach the language and it's not advisable
to get somebody on-line to teach you French
It's not a good idea to correspond with anyone
over the Internet to learn or even to have
friendship because you never know who you're talking to but if you're really interested to learn
I can tell you what to do without a risk at all
you'll study on your own .
1- Get study on your own tapes.
First,use the book to study :
A) The pronunciation
B) Gramme.....(very important)
C)Nouns,Adjectives,pronouns,and verbs.
Digest it very well after that you start working
on vocabulary and daily expressions
Go to the video store and pick up a French
movie with English subtitle to see how they
pronounce the language and you'll be very
surprised.

Hi! I'm French and I live in England. i want to be a translator, so I suppose my French is not too bad!
I don't have much time to use MSN Messenger, but if you want to write me emails to talk about whatever you want, or to ask specific questions, I'd gladly answer you (in French, of course) and even correct your mistakes (I could even try to explain; I've got good grammar books here).

Another alternative is http://french.about.com . I use its German equivalent all the time. If it's anything like its German counterpart, it will have forums hosted by people who are willing to help people improve their French. In those forums you can write in or about French.
