#1:go to a pet store and buy kitten baby formula. They need the nutrients in the formula that human milk doesnt have
#2:Make a vet appointment and have the kitten check out.It will need wormed and to make sure the age and checked for diseases.
#3:It is your choice whether the cat is going to be indoor or outdoor cat.
#4:Check with your vet about spaying or neutaring the kitten.
#5:Give lots of love
#6:Yes you have to buy a litter box and cat litter. Cats naturally will scratch, place the litter box in one spot and take the kitten place it in the box, with its paws, scratch the litter. That is how I taught my cats to use the litter box. Dont move the box around till the kitten gets old enough to find its way around the house

if it is that tiny...then obviously it does not belong outdoors, it would be quickly die if you put a helpless kitten out side. If it is still being bottle fed, you need to buy it some kitten formula from a pet store or vet..it is called KMR (Kitten Milk Replacement). Feeding it nothing but cows milk will kill it. At about 6-7 weeks of age you can start feeding it kitten food. Call a vet and get some advice on how to care for a kitten..they usually have little pamphlets on all the basics.

Well, I'm sure whether or not you want to keep it, you didn't specify but if you didn't I would take it to a pet shelter so they can care for it. You may want to take it there anyways just so they can help you and tell you want you need to do with it. If he's a newborn kitten, he won't be able to eat solid foods yet. You'll probably have to bottle feed it for awhile which is a big responsibility and it's time consuming. It's pretty much like having a newborn baby and I know it's a lot of work to take care of a baby since I have a 6 week old son. You could also call a vet to find out what you need to do to care for the kitten.

You should probably make it an outside cat because cats are meant to explore. Every cat that i have had has wanted to go outside. I tried keeping them inside but it just won't work. Feed the kitten with the bottle of milk and i don't know what the eye dropper is for but whatever. Cats are wonderful and you must get a kitty litter box and make sure it stays clean or they will not want to go in it. Good Luck! Oh, Oh and you can research about it or ask your vet.

well it all depends on how old the kitten is! if its younger than 4 wks u can feed it kitten formula! if its older u can try to give it wet food! but NEVER feed a cat regular milk! they cant digest it(this will lead to serious digestive problems down the road) And if ur planning on keeping it then take it to the vet! otherwise ur best off to see if ur local vet will adopt it out or ur local shelter! as far as the sex issue i mean i cant see it so i really cant help! but the outdoors /indoors thing thats not a problem if its young enough and trusts u then u can take it outside under supervision only! but if u dont want it to be outside then simply dont let it go outside! if u have any more questions or need any help u can email me at cobleskilllover@yahoo.com
Good Luck!

i've had boys and girls and i have to say boys are my favourite. girls are lovely but i've found tend to be more independent. boys are more affectionate. my cat now is a boy and he's the more beautiful and loving cat i've ever had. if your getting a kitten maybe think about getting 2 a girl and a boy from the same litter, then they have company and someone to play with. whatever you do do not declaw the kitten, it is horrendously cruel cats need there claws for climbing. just get a scratching post. with a boy having him fixed should make him less Territorial, aggressive and hopefully will stop any spraying. good luck

You sound like you need help. Ask your vet to show you how to feed the kitten.Let the vet show you if it is a girl or a boy. You might have to rub his bottom to make him pee. That's how a mommy cat would do her kitten...well, sort of. Keep it in a box with a warm towel and a clock wrapped in it so that it's like the mother's heartbeat. Keep it warm.
I hope this helps. A vet will help you out a lot.

Go to your local bookstore and look in the pets section, see if you can find the ASPCA complete guide to cats. It's a lifesaver for first-time cat owners.
And you certainly need to visit a vet, who should be able to help you with most of your questions.
With kittens, it's better to keep them inside at first anyway. It really depends on your kitten's breed and age (although what you're describing sounds like it could be a mixed breed).
Keep your kitty close and visit a vet ASAP!

It can be difficult to tell the difference in male and female kittens. They are sometimes described as the male looking like a : (colon) and the female looking like an upside down exclamation mark.
Usually there is a bigger space between the anus and genital area in a male kitten - the space where the testicles will grow. It may be possible to feel small testicles in male kittens.

take it to the vet to get it checked out, and then go buy a litter box, buy some kitten food, and give it milk, or water. kittens aren't safe to be outside, once they get older and more independant, its up to you to decide if you want it to be an outdoor/indoor cat.
