When we configure our wireless router, it asks us to select a power level 1-10. Each of this power level has a mapping to some XX dbm. I need to find out the exact mapping of each of those power levels.

Was this question so hard to understand? I am not asking suggestions to what power level should I choose. I want the mapping of each power level thats it :D.

Why bother with the details? Just pick the highest power level that you can get. It doesn't cost more and could improve signal strength.

Hi. I believe you may want the LOWEST power that provides maximum performance to aid in security. (Hi power means the drive-bys can get in from a longer distance.)

Perhaps if you specify the model (or at least the brand) of router, Someone could be more helpful.
