I don't pretend to understand the psychology behind masochism, but I would imagine that even masochists have a limit beyond which pain isn't fun, or sexy, or in any way appealing anymore.
Besides, if there really were an omniscient being controlling such things, it would certainly realize that what would be hell for some would be heaven for masochists and adjust the punishment accordingly.

Yes, it is. Congrats, you found the loophole in the system. I guess you could also give church up for lent if you wanted.
Its called "Faith" for a reason. Its impossible to know for sure. The best you can do it formulate a belief that you think is reasonable and stick with that until you hear a better more reasonable belief.
Just remember to not lose sight of the original idea. Being a good kind person makes alot of people happy and happy people are better than rude insensitive bastards.

There is no such thing as hell, except here on Earth. Poor masochists will just have to suffer from the truth.

Good point. Biblical heaven would be boring for a masochist.

Hell is a pain that will even hurt satan himself, and it's not only the pain that's the problem.
It's the fear, lonliness, depression and understanding that you and some of you friends and family are there with you.
No way out.

Hell isn't about pain and burning.....it is about being separated from God for eternity. Those who reject Him now will someday see that all the joy and fulfillment they ever sought was with Him, they will see the One who is LOVE, the one that they rejected and will not have any more chances.................... Hell was not created for man, it was created for Satan and his followers. God's will is that no one perishes there......but He gives us the choice.
