I will answer your question first: Take in less calories than you burn. Or burn more calories than you take in. Keep a food journal to know exactly what you are eating and cut out all of the junk. Add some exercise like walking, biking, basketball, etc. and you should see results fairly fast. Keep your protein consumption high and add some weight training so you do not lose your muscle tone. Keep your calcuim intake high because you are making bone right now that will last you into your adulthood and if you don't do it now you could develop osteoporosis.
Now for a little advice: You are NOT overweight! I am 5 ft. 1in and weigh 85 lbs. Why? Because at your age I was convinced that I needed to hit a certain number concerning my weight and have been a prisoner to it ever since. I have osteoporosis and have a fracture in my back because of it. Because you are small anyway you are at risk. I know at your age you are not thinking of adulthood but you need to. Find something else to focus on. You sound perfect to me. You need that extra 12 pounds to be healthy. You are not done growing yet. You need nutrition to get to your biological height and weight. Let nature take it's course. I don't mean to preach but I would hate to see you get into trouble with this weight thing. Good luck!

It is harder for skinny people to lose weight than it is really obese people.
So it might be harder for you to lose the excess fat you have
Im not sure if ur a girl or a guy
if ur a girl u should train with light weights to tone ur body
if ur a guy then u want to start lifting, but not at this age, or else u will have problems when u are older if not done properly
dont weight train now, it can affect ur growth.
I say eat healthy, get active do sports and such.
Cardio will help you to lose the weight because when u sweat all that nasty fat is burning off. But it is useless if u eat back in what u have burned
if u want ur legs to be stronger do lunges
do bicep curls for biceps, kickbacks for triceps, lateral raises for shoulders, bench press for chest ( actually push ups work fine matter fact they are awesome exercises )
Just do cardio and keep track of what u eat. But since u are only 13, theres no reason for u to lose weight since ur not fat
hope that helped

Actually it does not sound like you are overweight. Just exercise a little more to tone yourself. I ride a bike an hour a day and lost 50 pounds but I am a middle aged woman.
Enjoy being 13!! You are only young once.

Your weight is MEANINGLESS.
First of all, you're talking vanity pounds, just so you can say that you weight 100. I don't understand that.
Second, muscle mass is leaner (and healthier) than fat mass. That's why I say, "Meaningless." If you wanna lose 12 pounds of fat, then I applaud you. If you're gonna lose 12 pounds of muscle, then I gotta wonder about your sanity. You don't say if you're muscular or a couch potato, so, like I said, the "112" number is meaningless.
Third, when I'm with a lady, it doesn't matter to me if she's 100, 112, or 121, or... I just want her to be HEALTHY and HAPPY. "Healthy and happy" are the two foundations to looking attractive.

Thats a perfectly healthy weight for your height, I know because I am a dietition. If you don't think you are fat then why do you want to lose it? Just be more confident in yourself, and then it doesn't matter what your shape or size you are.

Choose a whole-wheat wrap rather then two slices of wheat breads.

Salt causes bloating and butter is an excellent source of calories, so flavor pasta, cereal, meat, and stews with fresh new herbs, garlic, and onions rather.

When making cookies, bake half the batch and scoop the remaining into ice-cube trays. When your sweet tooth kicks in, pop out one and bake it to meet up with your craving without breaking the actual calorie bank.
