Do you have a coach? You'd benefit from a good coach if you don't have one already.
Second, you could gain 10 pounds by eating $100 worth of McD's fries... or buying $100 worth of that bulking powder drink... but what would be the point? Most weight lifters wanna "cut" meaning they'd love to lose the fat!
I guess that your thighs... quads, hams, etc are probably the fastest-growing muscles, and the largest muscles, so I'd work on those if you wanna gain 10 in muscle mass. If you do a spinning class (bicycling) then remember to crank down the resistance.

Well, I watched "True Life: I want the perfect body" a couple of times on MTV. On the first one, there is a football player who was trying to gain MUSCLE weight. I'm guessing that is what u r asking, because idk any1 who wants to gain 10lbs of fat.
The guy on true life ate SEVEN THOUSAND(7000) calories a day, and worked out alot. So he was gaining weight, but it was muscle and not fat. So I recommend eating five small-medium size HEALTHY meals a day. By healthy, I mean u shouldn't be drinking five cokes and should be eating five salads or something. Work out in the gym 5-6times a week. When u r in the gym, lift weights. Also go on the treadmill or do any other cardio activity(as in it makes u breath hard after doing it, like running, jumping rope, and kickboxing).
As i said, I just saw this on true life and i am not a trainer, but this guy had a coach. I'm pretty sure he was trying to gain more than 10lbs so this routine may be a little 'extreme' for u. So maybe just eat four meals a day and get 5k calories.

Gaining weight?
All you need to do is eat right ( protein ) and workout because you do know that muscle weighs more than fat.
Eat lean meat and stay away from junk food ( well if u want to get fat then eat w/e )
Working out and building muscle is ur best bet

Eat 500-1000 more calories than you burn. If you burn 2200 calories a day, you need to eat 2700-3200 calories to gain 1-2 lbs a week.
