You don't say what you want to buy it for but if you actually want to watch it you may be stumped. Apart from the fact it's unlikely to work any more and you'll not be able to get the parts for it, if you're in the UK it won't be able to handle 540 scanning lines of broadcast. You do know that it'll only be black-and-white pictures, I assume?
When analogue TV switches off you won't be able to convert to digital because there won't be any auxiliary inputs to attach your box.
If you want it for decorative purposes consider having a replica cabinet made and weathered to look old, and a screen made of curved glass with a green glaze.

have you tried the Internet or the yellow pages or the businesses section of the phone book for antiques shops
eBay
jumble sales or boot fairs
could also try directories inquirers to see if they have any information to any places in your area that you could find one
good luck

When you find one, you will probably get it for free, just as long as they know you won't bring it back.
Put a wanted ad on craigs list.
