First: we must remember that we are people with a body. The earthly body is called a tent by Paul in 2 Cor. 5. In my experience I am beginning to understand this concept. Even though I am born again, if Jesus does not come, I will die.
When I die my body will be buried to await that coming day of ressurection when Christ comes. However, the real person is not left in some inbetween position. In 2 Cor. 5: we read that "if we are absent from the body we will be present with the Lord" (2 Cor.5:8) The word present in this verse his the sense of a concious presence not soul sleep.
Every believer, including Mary the mother of Jesus is present with the Lord!
Even so come Lord Jesus

To be absent from the body is to be present with the lord.
That is why we believe our spirit goes directly to heaven, our body sleeps and will be resurected at the day of "caught up in the clouds" spoken of in 1 Theselonians.
I do not know of any Christians that believe that the earthly mother of Jesus Christ is not in heaven. I know that we are not to pray to anyone who has gone on ahead of us. The bible tells us point blank not to try to contact the spirits.

There's no doubt in my mind that Jesus' mom is there.
And what a lot of people fail to realize is that she is named in the number of the 120 who were in the place when the Holy Spirit was poured out, and the church, aka, the body of Christ, was birthed. And the scripture says they were ALL filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues (and, by the way, tongues is merely the old King James English for languages) as the Spirit gave them utterance.
This actually means that Mary was a Pentecostal before the Catholics made her a Catholic.

Why did Jesus institute sacraments to assist us in our salvation if all we had to do become profess our thought in him one time? Jesus pronounced that the Eucharist forgives sin (Matthew 26:28), Confession forgives sin (John 20:22-23, and the final Rites forgive sin (James 5:14-15). Salvation occurs in our previous: Romans 8:22-24 Ephesians 2:4-8 Salvation is occurring now: 2 Corinthians 2:15 Phillipians 2:12 a million Peter 3:21 Salvation occurs interior the destiny: Romans 5:9-10 a million Corinthians 3:12-15 Matthew 24:13 the respond is that I genuinely have been saved, i'm being saved, and that i've got the wish that i visit be saved, on the same time as I artwork out my salvation with concern and trembling. in accordance to the Bible, "being saved" isn't a one time journey. One important ingredient to undergo in ideas .............. we are forbidden to choose human beings, ( Matthew 7:a million), which incorporates ourselves! whilst human beings say "i'm saved", they are judging themselves, it quite is largely the pastime of Jesus Christ on the proper judgment.

Again, can't lop all Christians into one mindset. As for Mary and anyone who believes ' to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord '.

I am not aware of anyone who is a Christian who thinks Mary is not in Heaven. However, if you meet people like that, ask them where they think Abraham is. The Bible says that God counted his faith as righteousness, and as such he is in Heaven with God. If Abraham was allowed into Heaven because of his faith in God, why not mary who had every reason to beleive and place her faith in God?

I don't think the person that gave you your info is right. but i can't prove it. Why wouldn't she be in heaven it says she was a true follower of God. Before Christ died that was how you got to heaven. Although it doesn't say in the bible that she is in heaven I am sure she is.

Well, I assume they think that Mary is there. But there are many different crazy beliefs from this one religion. Something about purgatory I am sure. They have to make stuff up to try to explain other weird beliefs.
