People, read the question again. The 2 year old is another dog!
My biggest concern is that you are putting a newly found animal in close contact with an existing pet. I think I also answered another question of yours & said the same thing - you should keep them separated until the puppy has been checked over to make sure she is not carring a communicable disease.
Other than that, as long as there is not a huge size discrepancy or obvious aggression/rough play, they should be OK together.

Animals and children should never, ever be left together unsupervised! If you want them to play, you need to keep a close eye. If you haven't yet done so, make sure that you take the dog to a Vet to be examined and tested for any parasites that he/she might be able to pass along to the child. I would recommend that you get the dog enrolled in obedience training ASAP (if it's a "street dog" it might not be used to being around people, so training will help) and that you teach your 2-year-old the proper ways to pet ("be gentle") and interact with the dog. The last thing you need is a horrible accident when it all can be avoided with forethought and supervision. Also at the Vet, you may want to have them check if the dog has a microchip - it's possible, but not likely, that this "street dog" is someone's lost pet. I have a 9-month old puppy that I got when he was 3 months. Let me tell you, it's a whole lot of work! Please make sure you have the time and resources to attend to both your child and the dog for the sakes of all those involved. Your child's safety, tho, should be your first priority.

DO NOT LEAVE A PUPPY WITH A 2 YEAR OLD CHILD!!!
One or the other will get hurt!
The child can hurt the puppy and the pup the child.
Puppies leap, bark, growl and nip in play. At 3 months or so, the puppy is simply too young to know that play-biting is fine with other dogs but not with people.
The child could fall on the puppy or grab it wrong or hit in the eye.
You need to be right there between them - teaching the child what to do and not do, and the same with the puppy.

I would supervise them very closely. In general any dog is not a good fit left unsupervised with small children. It sounds as if the dog views your 2 year old as a playmate in the pack. This if ok, except dogs socialize very differently than humans. Dogs think nothing of nipping at each other as playmates. This behavior is not ok for humans. Please take the 3 month old to puppy classes to learn human manners, then carefully introduce your 2 year old. Ideally children should not be alone with dogs until the child is old enough to understand how to interact with one.

I truthfully have a muddle of four week previous puppies and the momma won't nurse them in any respect. I feed the puppies & if i'm no longer watching she would have the ability to consume all their canned domestic dog foodstuff, drink each and every of the goat milk & then purely leave them crying. So I truthfully have separated them for now. I make her nurse a pair of times an afternoon. she would have the ability to stand up & sneak away if i'm no longer watching. So I truthfully have decrease some time past on her foodstuff so she would have the ability to start to dry up. The puppies are exterior in a sheltered kennel with foodstuff & water and a insulated canine abode. they're already ingesting dry too. they do no longer rather have a decision on the grounds that mothers being a brat. :/ yet they're doing sturdy. All are healthful. I did supplement them with Goats milk early on they're fat lil roly polys.

that's a good question. i think she'll be fine as long as you keep an eye on her at all times (which I bet you already do), because a dog growling isn't always a bad sign because sometimes they will growl in a playful way, like mine does to me all the time. that's kind of you for taking a puppy off the street and into your home

that's not normal. the puppy is just like your 2yr old they don,t know any better when puppy's play its like school to our kids they learn there natural instincts which includes aggression you need to teach the puppy and daughter at the same time together don't let the puppy bite on her even if its playing and not hurting her you can easily stop that type of play by tapping the puppy on the tip of the nose and say no bite bad make sure your daughter understands its not OK for the puppy to bite on her even if it is playing you will need to teach your daughter not to hug the puppy around the neck dogs find it threatening it takes time and paitents to train a puppy in the end you will raise a good dog

She'll probably be ok. Most dogs naturally know that young dogs and/or children should be treated more carefully. They're smarter than you might think.
Its not always true though, as more aggressive dogs and certain breeds are bit less tolerant of newcomers. Over time, however, just about any dog will adapt positively.

Should be. Dogs recognize babies for what they are. You probably want to take the dog to the vet and make sure it's had all its shots.
If the kid hurts the dog, it'll growl, and if the kid doesn't stop it might snap at the kid or even bite it to get the kid to stop, but probably won't do any serious damage.

It depends on the temperament of your two year old. Is he or she aggressive or laid back and gentle???? Evaluate your dogs temperament and go from there. See how the two interact with each other. The two year old should be dominant but not two rough. If he or she is then it would not be a good idea to put them together.
