Hi, I'm a 29 year old stay at home mom with three children. Most of my days are spent cleaning house and taking care of screaming children. I want to lose weight but just cannot beat the stress that makes me want to eat everything in site. I'd like to do this without medication. Thanks!

Exercise is a great stress reliever! You didn't mention what age your children are, but maybe you could put the kids in a stroller and go for a walk with them. Or put them down for a nap, and do an exercise video. Or go to a gym with daycare for the kids. If there's any way to either involve your children or exercise while they are otherwise occupied, that should really help to beat the stress.

Also, try to keep the junk food out of the house. If you have lots of healthy snacks on hand, you can't really do that much damage unless you go out to get something. Try to prepare healthy meals for the family. It will be good for everyone!

I suggest getting the stress under control and then work on the weight loss. In my opinion, you'll then be much more successful with a weight management plan.

B-Complex and Stress Relief Complex would be very helpful in dealing with your stress. These are all-natural supplements.

B-Complex: Often called "The Happy Food". The B vitamins feed the nerves and have a profound effect on mental and emotional stability. Stress, medications, sugars and alcohol all rob the body of B vitamins. B-Complex is water soluble and should be taken throughout the day.

Stress Relief Complex: Four all-natural ingredients enable your own body reduce the effects of stress.

Promotes relaxation without drowsiness. L-theanine, a naturally occurring amino acid found in green tea, helps generate alpha waves that creates a relaxed yet alert mental state.

Enhances the body's ability to adapt to continuing stress. Ashwagandha, an ayurvedic herb that enhances the body's ability to adapt to stress.

Helps reduce the effects of everday stress by blunting the cortisol response to stress. Beta-Sitosterol, a natural plant sterol, helps blunt cortisol, a hormone produced during physical stress.

Helps make norepinephrine, which is involved in mood regulation. L-tyrosine is an amino acid produced by the body to make the neurotransmitter norepinephrine. Studies suggest that norepinephrine levels may decline with stress.

Stress Relief Complex enables the body to create the antibodies necessary to cope with prolonged stress.

No Kava - a "fad ingredient" that the FDA warned may cause severe liver injury.

Hope this is useful and feel free to contact me with questions or the website.

If you aren't eating more than normal, you need to get checked out by your physician. There are some minor medical conditions that can affect your weight. If everything there is fine.... just watch what you are eating. Smaller portions, no pop, lots of water and few snacks. Don't eat late at night. Try walking on your lunch break for a little exercise throughout the day. Good luck.

My husband lost a lot of weight and his belly with the ab energizer. With having a desk job he didn't get a work out at all and at the end of the day he was too stressed to want to work out and he's doing well with this. Also don't allow any fatty unhealthy food in the house. As far as stress try to get out every once in a while. You are so young still and need to act it sometimes, find a baby-sitter every once in a while and go out with a friend.

Try jumping jacks. They are simple, you can do them in the living room in front of the kids, and a set of 100 burns 20 calories. That doesn't sound like a lot, but if you work your way up to 500 jumping jacks here and there, you can burn quite a few calories in a day without going out of the house. Plus, get the kids to join in...it's good for them too.

It would be great if you can get someone to watch the the kids for you long enough for you to take a good walk a few days a week. If that's not possible, try the jumping jacks. Good luck!

Make your husband give you 45 minutes a day to run 2 miles. Or time for a serios gym workout(mane gyms less than $60/month).

Buy a really good pair of running sneakers.
Buy clothes that keep you cool when running.

If your husband won't give you the time, tell him he better get used to buying you bigger clothes every season.

Try getting your entire family to eat healthier. The South Beach diet is designed to be easy to follow, as well as tasty and manageable.

It's also a good idea to purge junk food from your house and life- that way if you binge on something, it will at least be healthy.
