not within 1000 ' of any businesses, school ,malls highways also check local city ordinances definately stay away from prisons

I dont know it verbatim but I would imagine if its a private aircraft you can land on your property as long as you dont cause damage. I dont know of anything in the criminal statutes that clarify if it would be a crime. You would have to check who ever does licensing for pilots in nc
