I think you should ask a doctor, you may have a hormone imbalance and you are producing too much testosterone, male hormones. It may help you to be on estrogen or other female hormones. Please, ask a doctor!!!

Definetly talk to a doctor. It may be a hormone imbalance, causing you to produce too much tesosterone (the male hormone).

If the doctor does give you something to take care of that, but the hair is not going away, see about laser hair removal. It would be the most effective way to end this problem (if bleaching, waxing or plucking doesn't work). Also, don't shave! It will grow back thick, black, and pokey.

Hope this helps!

Dont worry hon,
At least you havnt started shaving! Thats the worst thing you could start doing, it would make any dark hair you have now, darker and thicker.

Here are some tips that may help,
There is hair bleach from Sally Hansen (At Walmart)
Or you can go have it waxed off, by a perfessional.
Nair does remove hair great, Be careful though, your face is sensitive. Try a small portion of your face. I know Nair works good, because I used it as a brazillan hair remover. The hair grew back softer!
Lazer hair removal can work. Its just very expensive, Ive heard your hair will grow back less and less, each time you have it done.
These options can work for you, try them out, Just DO NOT SHAVE your face whatever you choose to do. Hope this works!

Same problem here due to an imbalance of testerone. Have that checked by your doctor. I've also tried everything except laser.

I've done electrolysis (painful and the results are minimal), waxing, tweezing, and shaving. I've discovered that shaving is the least troublesome. You can do it in 5 minutes. Use the female shaving cream for it, not the male stuff. Oh, if you don't like the itchy residue female shaving cream leaves on your legs, do your shaving with bath gel like Oil of Olay. MUCH smoother and nicer feeling.

Do see if the doctor has other remedies. After 50 years of the problem, I've pretty much just settled on shaving.

Stop using that mitten. It will make your skin red and rough permanently. Buy a bottle of facial Nair. It will keep the hair off for days, maybe longer than a week. And yes lasers will help you but they will want to let the hair grow out some.

Laser removal, do research into it and that's what I advise. I mean this is obviously ruining your life, worrying about hair on your face and not having fun. Laser removal has amazing effects, do lots of research and ask your doctor if it's right for you. If your scared of laser removal, ask your doctor advice on some good hair removal, your body might have a hormone imbalance and your doctor and prescribe you medicine to correct that. Lot's of women have facial hair problems, don't worry, and good luck!!

Laser hair removal will work, but you will have to go back for several treatments that are expensive. If you want to wax your face you can go see an aesthetician to make sure you are getting everything removed. I am and aesthetician and have waxed many a womans face including peoples cheeks and their chins. So don't be afraid if you need to have some one wax your face for you.

You should see a doctor to get his/her recommendation. This is your face, not your back. If something goes wrong, it will be very noticeable. I use an eye brow shaper because my face is not hairy, I just have some thick, dark hairs that grow on my cheeks and chin. I don't know that the rub-mitten thing was such a good idea...another reason to see a doctor first. I feel your pain!

I know someone who had this problem. She went to a doctor (a gynecologist, I think, although a dermatologist should be able to help, too), who prescribed some hormone medication. I think her testosterone level was too high. Anyway, after taking the medication for a few weeks, her face went completely back to normal, with no excess hair.

Laser will work defintiely. But it wont last you the rest of your life. Research it some on the net to see exactly how long it will last. I'm guessing probably about 6 months to a year....it should be just like lasering your legs or bikinni area.
good luck!

trust me it only gets worse, plucking, shaving, or waxing isnt bad either. waxing it last for a good couple weeks, laser removal if you canafford try it, but side effects should be a main topic for you with a doctor.
