Hi the only thing you can do is either find some way to make it look how you want or go back and complain, many of times ive gone for a simple cut and it has ended up as a bob and i have gone to pieces over it. So i just tied it back and let it grow out. But if you are really pissed off i would go back and complain and beg for hair extensions. But bear in mind a hair style that suits someone else may not suit you.

As a stylist and former manager, I can honestly say that nothing will change unless you say something to the manager about it. They will usually offer to recut it themselves for free if they think it will help or offer your money back, or another cut when this one grows out. Stylists are human, they do screw up periodically because no one is perfect. You may have also gotten someone really new. Once you get the manager to recut it, you may just ask her if you can request HER next time so you don't feel scared going back. Speak up before you pay for it, and if you don't notice it until you get home, go back immediately. You can always call ahead to make sure the stylist who did it isn't there if that intimidates you in any way. Good luck !

without a doubt i would be straight back to the hairdressers and demand a free haircut to correct it!
If you dont want the embaressment of that then try funking it up a bit with some wax and small hair clips!
Or you could go to a reptuable hairdresser and have some layers put in your hair! Good luck

I would go to another hairdresser and make it clear what style you would like. Don't leave the salon until you are satisfied, after all it is your hair and your money. If you decide after that , that you still don't like it, buy some clip in extensions until your hair grows long enough to have it cut into a different style.
I got the extensions for my hair and love them. Don't worry, your hair will grow again if you don't like it. Good Luck x

No worst feeling then that of a bad haircut...I happens to everyone at least once in their life. Go back and have the hair salon you went to fix it. And, it'll grow. Perhaps were a hat for a little or try and wear it up if it's long enough. Good luck!

I just got a haircut I don't like as well. Remember it's just hair and it will grow.
A while back, I was freaking out about cutting my hair, asking everyone I knew if I should, and a friend (male, of coure, females are too attached to their hair :)) said "who cares, it's just hair, it's not going to change who you are!" and he was right.
I try to remember that when I wish I had my long hair back.

go back to the hairdressers that cut it for you, or alternatively go to another salon thst you can trust to correct it for you. explain to them what has happened and how it wasnt what you wanted and they should beable to correct it for you. also you could try and find a picture of the shaope bob that you wanted, this always helps.
it could be that your not styling your hair in the way that it was when you stepped out of the salon.
hope this helps

Don't panic... wait about a week. It takes that long for both you and your hair to adjust to a radical style change. Your hair needs a little time to adjust to the difference in weight and start falling naturally into place again, and you need to break your old longer-hair styling habits and adjust to styling for shorter hair too.
It's really true. I had a radical cut done for my last birthday that literally made me cry on the morning after the haircut, but after a week I loved it.

Go back to your hairstylist with a photo of how you want it, and demand a free haircut. And if they can't then just get some fun layers and hopefully you can scrunch it and make it wavy and stuff, look at some pictures in "short-hair style" magazines and photos. good luck to you!!
