What is the smallest dog in the world, like the breed of it. in the future ide like to get a very small dog, like one u can carry with u undier ur arm. i like pomeranians, and chihuahuas, but is there any dog smaller than that? thanks- ashley

There is no dog smaller then a Chihuahua.
A Chihuahua is the smallest dog.

A Yorkshire Terrier was the smallest dog ever. I don't remember /how/ small it was, however. You can look it up. Over here, there's a yorkie and a chihuahua that run around loose, and the yorkie is smaller than the chihuahua, and they're both fully grown. So, no, the chihuahua isn't the smallest...

The other day I saw a chihuahua and the yorkie together playing and the yorkie was slightly smaller. Not by much though. Don't know the age of the dogs either.

The tea cup chihuahua is the smallest breed. But there are also other tea cup breeds to choose from. Even toy breeds aren't that big.
