Chick tracts are a joke. They're about as accurate as the supermarket tabloids.
Modern Wicca may have drawn a few items from the ancient Celtic religion that the Druids were part of, but it's not a direct descendant.
Harry Potter has as much to do with Wicca as the Smurfs have to do with Buddhism.

Harry Potter is not related to Wicca. Heck, in Harry Potter, they celebrate Christmas and Easter. So I can only assume that most charaters in Harry Potter are Christian.
Samhain is the Pagan holiday on Nov 1st. Halloween is a cultural holiday that may have had Pagan roots once upon a time, but now has NOTHING to do with religion.

So what. Druid religion, like Wicca and all other religions, are made up by men and women. There is no true religion, and Halloween is simply now a holiday that helps to entertain and make children happy. If you don't like halloween, don't celebrate it. But let others do what they want.

HAH! You think thats bad you should start checking out Easter and Christmas. They both have pagan (wiccan) roots.
Naw, the start of modern wicca came from Gerald Gardner who was a friend of Aleister Crowley.
The movies about Harry Potter have one thing in common with wicca, MAGIC.

No and no. Druidism and Wicca are two very different things and Chick tracts are jokes. We don't sacrifice cats or humans or any other type of animal. I especially like the part where he has the Celtic Druid holding an Egyptian Ankh. Blessed be.

Wicca is about loving nature, and kind of a karma thing, where when you do good things to others, you get something back or kind of like "gaming points" as someone once said to me.
In Wicca, you are not "allowed" to use "spells" for harm or misfortune, only for good, like praying.
Harry Potter is 1) A good FICTION book and 2) Not related to Wicca in ANY way.

OMG, we're back to the 'Harry Potter advocates Wicca' again! It has nothing to do with Wicca, it is purely fiction. Samhain is a celebration of the final harvest and for honouring the dead and our departed loved ones. Read up on it, you'll soon see what it is really about.

If Jack Chick ever met a real Witch, he'd crap his pants.
Druids and Witches are NOTHING like the people depicted in any sort of Tract.
Druids and Wiccans are two different religions.
And Harry Potter has more in common with Christianity, than it does with Wicca. Christian Holidays, speaking in Latin (Catholic Mass anyone?)

Sorry to you and many others, but Wicca and Harry Potter have no relation whatsoever. Wicca is a newer religion but the main beliefs of it are extremely old, pre-dating Christianity by hundreds of years or more. The American tradition of Halloween has nothing to do with Witchcraft, or any other religion. Nothing negative, nothing to fear.

Well, I've studied Wicca, and all of that is only myth. they even put the pentacle upside down, and in Wicca, it is point-up. in satanism it is point-down, and all of that is pretty much about satanism, not Wicca, Wicca is actually all about love and harmony, and anyone that says other wise is misinformed, they don't even believe in Satan. even someone who says that they are a witch/Wicca and says they worship the devil obviously don't know what they are talking about. and, no harry potter is only a book/ movie used to entertain kids and provoke myth.
