sorry they are there for keeps unless you have cosmetic surgery.....i can tell you that they do become a silvery grey colour over time and very thin......so if they are still coloured and thick they will get a little better and not as noticeable...

Stretch marks don't go away if you use those lotions or whatever. They only cover them; sort of like a mask. Stretch marks usually go away with excercise or anything that will get you sweating and active.

Hands down, without a doubt Olive OIL! Buy the most expensive one you can afford and do not be afraind to pour POUR it all over yourself. AND DO NOT WASH IT OFF until the morning. I have 4 kids, 18, 16, 7 and 3 and not a sngle stretch mark. I still wear bikinis (because I can) and I swear by it ...... so does my OBGYN

stretch marks are considered "scars"...there is no true way to fully get rid of a scar...
many mothers swear that CoCo butter works but i believe you have to use that in the early stages after giving birth...
scars seem to settled after a while and just wont go away, unless you can afford to go to a plastic surgeon and have them lazer it away
i gained 65 pounds with my son, i was very petite so my belly stretched alot...i still have tons of stretch marks, i tried every lotion, every gimmick on the TV...doesnt work
i started to accept my stretch marks and now i call them my war wounds of child bearing and sometimes i say that they are "medal" of being a mother

They do fade somewhat over time, just use really good moisturizer. Practically everyone has some....except those who are really, really lucky.
