I have been to many bars and nightclubs but I find myself always getting plastered early in the night by hard liquor shots. So I just want to know about some good mixed drinks that you would recommend. Thanks.

I would suggest Long Island Iced Teas. They are not little girly drinks, and they have a bunch of different types of liquor in them. They get you messed up without taking a bunch of shots. And it actually tastes good. It is made by mixing equal parts vodka, gin, rum, tequila, and triple sec with 1 1/2 parts sour mix with a splash of cola. :)

The best drink on earth is a red headed s l u t.
It is:
over ice add
1 1/2 shots of Peach Schnapps
1 1/2 shots of Jagermeister
Fill with cranberry juice
This is a great drink and they will get you DRUNK, but not too fast! You have to try it!

In the summer I like a good margarita on the rocks (no salt), or a cape cod or bay breeze. Greyhounds are good, too.
In the winter I love white russians. Yum, yum, yum!
If you are looking for an especially tasty shot -- try a pineapple upsidedown cake. They are so good. They really do taste like pineapple upsidedown cake! And, they shouldn't get you too plastered too early.

Kettle One on the rocks. That's what I like. Not a mixed drink and if you don't pace yourself you will still have the same problem you are having. Try a water between each beverage to slow thinks down and keep your body hydrated.

I love Amaretto sour. It is Amaretto and sour mix with a bit of sugar. It's not heavy so you won't get plastered early in the night.

I love Hypnotic and Alaze! Or just plain Hypnotic on the rocks. Its a cool blue drink and its wonderful! Won't get you plastered too early, relaxed yes on your butt no. Try it!!!

Cajun Martinis, spiced vodka, just a drop or two of vermouth, shaken, not stirred. Garnish with 2-3 jalapeno stuffed olives.

I don't drink anymore, but I used to make my own mead from honey, water, yeast, grapes, tea bags, cinnamon sticks, and some other ingredients. I remember making a heavenly melomel by adding prune juice to the must. I didn't think it would turn out as well as it did and was very surprised.
