Please don't feed your dog cornflakes or any other processed cereals. Aside from the salt, there is the sugar to worry about. If you want a great substitute to wean your dog off its cornflake habit, try making porridge with milk. It is very gentle on a dogs stomach, filling, and low in salt, sugar, and fat. I gave it to our dogs to wean them off toast with butter habit!

excessive salt can cause pancreatitis. Iodised salt and salty food can cause stomach disorders. There is a recommended salt intake for dogs and you can find it online. Just type in "salt bad for dogs" in a search engine.
