Yes. But keep in mind, the amount of calories you lose is very minimal. This is not the miracle diet food. The amount of calories lost will probably be no more than 10-12 calories a day. The good thing is celery can quickly satiate your hunger, preventing you from eating other high-calorie foods. Many fruits also do this.

Celery has negative calories! It takes more calories to eat a piece of celery than the celery has in it to begin with.

Celery is mosty water and sodium, and barely any calories. You won't lose weight from it, but it's good in soups and stocks!

I heard, but to eat celery you have to dip it in something good(read: something that high in calorie and fat) to make eating it a pleasure. Ranch dip anyone?
