Cheers Jadini, just to let you know I haven't got my pup yet I was just looking for ideas and there have been some great suggestions, I will be sure to spend time with him when I get him. It's a shame about your comment italian_h... "think about it" because I'm loving Dudley at the minute!. I also like Higgins and Scout. Thanks people, I will let you know what I go with!

We had one and he was called Toby.
But as you haven't got your pup yet it's best to wait till you do have him, then for a week or so try out different names and stay with the one that feels right.
A name doesn't have the same significance to a dog that it has for us, it is not tied up with his sense of identity, it is just a signal that you are addressing him, so this will not cause your pup any problems.
Good luck they are a lovely dog. Be sure to keep his toenails well clipped as they grow very fast on this breed.

Had three cavalier king charles dogs over the years, all boys - Oliver (Olly) , Buddy and Blue.

I have a tri colour we have named Daniel, he is gorgeous although Oliver would be very fitting he always wants more!
