Through you local law enforcement, if they are not over worked as is or your local S.P.C.A. They have investigators and money for this very thing (by our donations only-so always donate). They will take any complaint seriously. And please complain, it's us who make the difference in all animals lives.

Call and ask if they are AAHA accredited, you can complain to AAHA. Talk to the office manager & explain why you are disgruntled, find out if there were circumstances beyond anyones control. I work at a 24 hour hospital and I know that no one where I work would purposefully endanger or mistreat an animal. However as a pet owner I tend to be overbearing and I want my pet fixed no matter what. Remember Veterinary Medicine is a science and a practice, not a cure. Sometimes employees can rub you the wrong way. They are busy and easily forget that they have seen said condition a million times when it is completely new to you. You can also choose a different Vet. Good luck.

It depends on what you have done already. First, you talk to the manager of the establishment. If your problem seems to be an ongoing occurrence and the manager does not rest your fears that the prob lam is not being handled correctly, then I would take it to the Better Business Bureau. Write to them with a detailed complaint and the failed steps you took to have the problem taken care of.

The above answers are good, but there is also an organization called AAHA...American Animal Hospital Association. If this hospital is a member, then you should report them here.

See if the are AAHA Certified which is a national registry for vets. You can complain through them if they are.
Otherwise, better business bureau.
