Depening on the year and transmission type.
1. In a manual transmission..some models require you to have the clutch pressed in, and there's a switch in the clutch that can go out and need to be replaced...the key won't turn if that switch is bad.
2. The key or the lock too worn, and no longer making contact on the lock tumblers...try a different key..hopefully you have a spare.
3. The steering column wasn't turned all the way to "lock" and now the key won't turn.
Hope it helps/.

You probably had the steering wheel turned too far in one direction when you turned it off last time you drove. Just insert the key and force the steering wheel in the opposite direction, then turn the key at the same time. It should start right up for you.
good luck.........

Could be the wrong key, key isnt all the way in, key has to be pushed into ignition and turned at same time.

Cheap Keys. Jingle the steering wheel left and right as you turn the key. If that dosen't work, turn the key around.
