There are between 12 million and 20 million illegal aliens in the United States. They are neither law-abiding nor citizens - indeed, their very first act in coming here was to violate the laws of our land.
Would many companies go under if these illegal aliens were deported? Hardly. Eighteen million unemployed U.S. citizens could and would do the jobs illegal aliens are doing, if paid a living wage. Teenagers and college students would again be able to find entry-level manual labor jobs.
Were Americans to be hired instead of illegals, companies would simply increase the price of goods by a small percentage to make up the difference in their cost of doing business. Contrary to what open-borders advocates would have you believe, corporate interests and business owners benefit from employing illegals, not our economy and certainly not the average citizen. The money companies save in payroll taxes, workers compensation, unemployment compensation and health care costs goes to their bottom line; the profits they realize line their pockets, not the consumers.
Some may say illegals pay their share of taxes. The IRS reported that illegal aliens in the U.S. paid $300 million in taxes last year. California alone is looking to the federal government (the taxpayers) to reimburse it $2.5 billion for the costs of illegal aliens. Hospitals and clinics are going bankrupt and closing all along the Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California borders.
The bottom line is that illegal aliens are breaking our laws, depressing wages, are a drain on our economy and are destroying our infrastructure. One need only look at California to see the future in store for the rest of our country

I think anyone coming into our country should speak English, especially before getting a Driving License. If a Translator is needed, it should be paid for directly by the person needing it or by their families; Not by the taxpayers. But, I have always believed in helping people in general in any way possible. I strongly believe, though, that children born in this country by people that are not citizens, should not become citizens since their parents have broken our laws. If they are small children, they need to leave the country with their parents. But...If the parents are caught and ask to leave the country, and the children are older and doing very good in school and are close to graduation this can contribute to our society by keeping them in the country and continue to college. I believe good students should have better opportunities; and they can do the paperwork to have their parents back once they get themselves in a better situation; hoping they stay a straight arrow. The problem becomes when parents that work all the time, don't raise their children, and like some upper class people in our country, let them grow like weeds: they then might join gangs, buy guns, and go and kill people that don't agree with them...usually they mostly kill students that go to school with them. But, those students doing well in school have less time to act stupid because this is part of being a good and smart kid; they are actually the ones hurt by bad kids whether those bad kids are citizens or not. Remember that most Hispanics are Catholic and they don't walk into a crowd and blow themselves up or fly planes into a high Rise Building; or kill a Nun to make a statment and bomb churchs because you have said something they disagree with. Yes, Hispanic coming into this country illegally have their problems, but we, as Americans have bigger issues to deal with than the Hispanics. We need to watch out for those people that want to kill us because we are not part of their stupid religion; the ones that blow themselves up to kill lots of people, wanting to make a big statement. Those radicals are the ones that come legally into this country, marry someones just to keep a low profile, then, out of no where, go and blow themselves up to make a statement. The women that are like them, will even get pregnant and do the same stupid thing but worst being pregnant and killing her unborn baby. We have a bigger problem than the Hispanic Workers. This can be a long talk; I see it coming and appreciate everyone's point-of-view.

Absolutely do not favor supporting illegal aliens. Open borders and a welfare state cannot co-exist. Look at states with problems with illegal immigration and you'll find they have huge problems from budget shortfalls to rising crime rates (in California alone 95% of outstanding warrants, 75% of the most wanted list, 60% of people in HUD housing and 40% of cash-paid workers are illegal) Criticize illegal immigrants and you're automatically branded as a racist by those who support open borders. Millions of people have come to this country legally and have become productive, integrated and proud Americans. Those who come here and abuse or put strain on the system without contributing need to be stopped at the border and we should be using those resources to help legal citizens and immigrants instead.

America grew without illegals and the morality did not have to endure culture clashes. Since most illegals have no health insurance but require medical and social support the middle class has to pay their burden as well as the lazy poor that thing the government should take care of all their needs. Socialism did not work in Russia or China and it is time we eliminate it here. The dummycrats love to create more entitlement programs because they create jobs for lazy people used to working the system. My answer to the poor is stay in school and apply yourselves. Instead of using excuses use your skills to get ahead in life without the government aid.

Yes they cost more than they pay. New school building aside, it costs $10,000 to educate a single child for a single year in California. Do you think they are paying that?
California is at almost precisely a 'replacement level' of births. Its growth is ENTIRELY from immigration. LAUSD alone has been spending BILLIONS on building new schools and old schools have been forced to year round schedules and even then are crowded. Those costs of new schools are NOT taken into account in the $10,000 number.

We spend around 70 BILLION Dollars for illegal aliens per year.
Some are on Welfare and work under the table at the same time while they are collecting welfare checks and getting food stamps and public housing.
Our social services are meant for America's poor and not illegal aliens!
When illegal aliens abuse our social services some child or poor or elderly American goes without proper medical or adequate housing and food.

they do alot of hard work I agree but no matter what they are a drain on our society and illegal to be in our country. Businesses wont go under, they will just have to pay american citizens instead of illegals. So i say send em and lets take care of ourself. if they want to be here, do it like everyone else and get a green card or visa!

to LA Country alone it is over $276 million per year. That's not counting what they are taking from Social Security, the impact of hospital closings, insurance rates increasing due to their abuse, etc

Illegals pay less taxes because their income are not usually taxed since companies hiring them do not report their income to evade taxes.
