To know if someone existed or not, you have two ways to make sure:
1)To see him by your eyes: It is impossible because Allah is saying that we can not see him because our bodies can not withstand that and because he wants to see who will believe on him and who doesn’t and it is the test based on which he created hell and heaven. Without it , what’s the fun of having them?
2)To see his impact or traces or actions that he made: He gave us Quran which is the miracle of all times in front of you and you can see it
Allah promised (In his book) to protect it from altering and until today , no one succeeded to alter Quran since 1400 years.
Let me give you an example:
Atheists are saying that they are created by their mothers and fathers. Which is not logical at all.
If you have a perfect Ferrari coming out from a trailer, do you say the Ferrari was created by the trailer or you say it was made in the Ferrari plant and put in the trailer.
There must be a designer and maker for it!
See around you, if the whole world was created suddenly in a big bang , then why there is no man lived more than 200 years or someone skipped the death and now is with us.
Why there is a system very accurate and sometimes in predictable patterns? Who put its rules?
What about the rules of physics and nature of things around you? Why the rules are continuing in a very systematic way since then.
Why we don’t see a women deliver a dog or a dog deliver a man?
The answer is : There must be someone who integrated the creatures and these fabulous systems and put their rules.
That is : ALLAH

Why would you fear something that doesn't exist? That's not very logical.
If you believe in God, you should act on that Faith. If you "disbelieve" in God, you should act on that Faith as well. But you should do both without fear.
Now, if you wish to discount all recorded observations of God, His power, and His will as being nothing more than ignorance or outright lies, you are free to do so. Good luck with that, hope it all works out for you.
Pascal's own logic was, if you're going to be a good person anyway, you lose nothing to believe, and gain everything if you are right.

You seem a pretty intelligent person to me, but just so others will also appreciate it, I'll spell it out.
No amount of apologising for major or minor mistakes, no amount of repenting, being good, giving to charity, helping old ladies accross the road or wearing your pants inside out will make an iota of difference to your chances of salvation if you do not accept Jesus into your life. It is by God's grace we are saved through faith in Jesus.
Now if there's even the slightest glimmer of doubt in your heart that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life then you owe it to yourself to seek Him out, to find Him and to commit to Him. When you do finally find Him, I can promise you will know God's love inside of you.

Rather boldly anti-Christian. Why ask the question if you refuse to take other people's opinions to heart? I do agree with you though, but that's not all the Christian religion is. TRUE Christians do good deeds because it makes them happy because they feel that is what "God wants me to do." Only hypocritical Christians believe in God "just in case." Not saying that there are few hypocritical Christians, because that is obviously not the case.

Be sure to always drink Coke, in case an invisible guy you'll meet after you die hates Pepsi.

Perfect love casts out all fear and God is perfect love.
And actually, my trusting in God does make sense. If I die and find out there is no GOD, I have lost nothing. If you die without trusting Him....you have lost all.
Matthew 16:26
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

No, I wouldn't suggest it that way...I would only encourage you to seek Him out. He wishes to make Himself known to you...so you do NOT doubt! Jesus said, "Blessed are those who have no doubts about who I am."
And here is how you can test it out for yourself...Jesus said, "If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever-- the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you."
I disagree with the usefulness of Pascal's wager as much as you do.

what I don't get is how people claiming superior thinking, cannot conceive of someone else viewing the world completely differntly and having a different perceptive ability.
that is, that for some people its not just a blind "just in case" but things that have a personal experience that proves it to them to be real.
