Personally, I choose to listen to stuff the brings glory to God...if I'm not able to bring glory to God by listening to it/saying it/doing it (the last one doesn't apply to music, just other stuff) then I choose not do it (obviously that isn't true 100% of the time because I still sin, etc.)...however, I don't think my conviction applies to every Christian in the world.

I don't know if the bible says anything about music. However, it you notice when you listen to gospel music it helps uplift your soul. Every morning on my way to school I listen to gospel music, and the feeling comes over my soul and I feel like I can do what ever I want to do and go where ever i want to go cause God is in charge of my life. So music to have a big impact on you soul, so be careful what you feed it.

It's certainly not a sin to listen to that kind of music - but we should listen to music that helps us grow spiritually - like Christian music. It really perks me up when I listen to it and just helps me in my walk with the Lord. Also there is some good Christian rap that is so good.

COL 2:16
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
One should always be aware of what environment they are in.
Christians should be well aware that profanity should be avoided.
Should I go clubbing all night and say its ok because I did not drink.
One who is a witness for Christ also lives a testimony.

The highest forms of music are classical, new age, and ambient. Most Christian music is pretty good too, except Christian rock. Most other forms of music are Satanic in nature, emphasizing physical desires and passions.

No not really it doesnt matter what you listen to as long as in your heart there is no intention to love the song for the words but for the beat and rythm but songs about s/ e/ x/ and that category is.

i do not care what my youthful ones pay interest to when I somewhat have them. i'd be upset in the journey that they are into rap or pop, yet i does no longer end them from listening to it. demanding Rock and metallic FTW!

The Lord gave you free will. Listen to whatever you want but if something makes you uncomfortable or offends you just turn it off.
