My Cousin has is a hair dresser and for halloween she want's to dye my hair black(it will wash out she said,i have red hair) and put my hair up so it looks like a wich's hat for a contest some stores are having by her store she owns soooooo.should It? my cousin is 30 some she has been a hair dresser for a long time

yes if it can wash out cause you dont need to keep your hair the same cause halloween is only for one day and you should know thats only 24 hours

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even the black dyes that say temporary will stain your hair. Since your cousin is a hair dresser she should know better. I don't expect you to believe me,but I am sooooo not lieing. It's just for one night,get a black wig and avoid any hair heartache. Good luck P.S. even the spray on black can stain. Allot of people are saying yeah do it because it isn't their hair.They have no idea what they are talking about and are not looking out for the best interest of you or your hair.

IF its a wash out black dye its just going to look like a dingy dark red on your hair, simi permanent black is not going to cover red or orange hair...and it is going to stain it but not really bad enough to matter.....I personally would just go to walmart and get the black spray on stuff...it actually washes out, unlike simipermanent hair colors that will stain your hair
And the black spray on stuff dubs as a sticky hairspray...so it will help hold your style

ok i can give you a product that washes out in 8-10 showers and they have black in the color line up. this will help you chose the right color for your hair and it is a great website if you don't want to permanently dye your hair. you can find this at like any store like a target or walgreens i think. i have always wanted to change the color of my hair but not permanently so i hope this helps you!

well get ask the helpers in any store ( that u buy your food in) about a hair dye it s new and after 10 washes it disapears and trust me if for 30 years she has been doing this u should'nt need to ask.

NO NO NO!!! if you have red hair and dye it black it's going to turn out green, why didn't your cousin tell you this....well I wouldn't... get a wig b/c the contest sounds fun!!

Sure! It might make your hair kind of dry, but if you get some good conditioner or have oily hair to begin with, it should be fine.

go for it. the worst that will happen is you might have black hair for a while. it is fall, and it might look cute. i wish i had the guts to do it. (i have ulta fine very light blond hair)
