How come when your blonde when your hair turns darker when its wet??

When i srunch my hair i look like a totaly diffrent person cuz my hair is brown!!! and i dont like it.

I'm not sure exactly why......if you're not happy with it being brown when you scrunch it then try using mouse instead of water so then your hair can still be blonde w/ the scrunch.
