Yes, in fact many people find that their infertility issues are resolved after weight loss surgery.
I had a gastric bypass exactly two years ago. If your wife is well-informed about the procedure and has gone through a good pre-surgery program, don't let any one scare you off. It can be a VERY good decision for someone struggling with a serious weight issue. The side-effects and complications from being obese usually FAR outweigh those of having surgery.
I had the SERIOUS surgery done...very invasive, completely irreversible...and I had ZERO complications. If you get enough protein and follow instructions about eating carefully, hair loss doesn't happen and neither does much vomiting. I was sick a few times before I learned how slowly I had to eat and what things agreed with me. But in the end, I felt it was worth it to lose 160 pounds I was carrying around.
Also, after 160 pound weight loss, I am not a candidate for plastic surgery. My upper arms are a little saggier than they probably would be without the fast weight loss. But my belly tightened up and my breasts popped back where they belong. Your wife may not NEED to have plastic surgery. I was 34 when I had it done, so I'm not that young either.
Of course, she can expect the normal damage from pregnancy...stretch marks, etc. It might be smart to wait until AFTER the baby is born to seek plastic surgery.
Good luck! I wish her safe, effective surgery.

Yes you can have kids. Why wouldn't you?
By the way, The lapband prcedure is horrible. She will throw-up after almost every meal. STart losing her hair and her skin will flake. She will also never learn portion control and health from a surgery.
What are the risks? Most patients experienced at least one side effect. Common side effects include nausea and vomiting, heartburn, abdominal pain, and slippage of the band. The most serious side effects required either another operation or hospitalization.
Your wife will have at least one of those. I'd wouldn't want any of those choices if you ask me.

She will, but you may want to have the baby first, and then get the skin removed. I would think it would be more cost effective, unless for cosmetic reasons you both feel she should have it done first.
She can have a baby, and yes her skin will stretch to accomodate it, but she may want surgery again because sometimes the skin doesn't snap back. I had a friend that had the skin removed after pregnancy because she felt her stomach looked awful. We aren't all Heidi Klum :)

Reduce your current stress. Your stress hormone cortisol could be activated by extremely low-calorie diet programs, intense training, lack of rest and day-to-day worries, which leads to a spike in glucose levels with your blood. More worryingly, it can bring about blocked arteries and fat build around your internal organs, putting you at risk of diabetes and heart disease. The one prescription for this is to… calm down.

Always start your meal using a salad. It'll fill you upward, making you eat less from the actual meal, and it's technique fewer calories than typical deep-fried or maybe cheesy apps.

Set up reminders on your laptop or phone every hour to encourage yourself to get up, walk around, as well as stretch.

The only thing that would stop the two of you from having children is if one of you are infertile. Just because she's having the surgery doesn't mean that she can't have babies. good luck!

Wear comfy shoes to help you take meetings for a walk as opposed to sitting at a desk.
