We're going to Bangkok in February and I am trying to decide which to go for, as I am treating my husband. Price-wise they are similar, but I can get miles on my Virgin frequent flyer on Gulf, while Qatar is supposedly five-star.

I'd actually say Emirates were the best - they've certainly won more awards and I've always found them fabulous. Plus the connection times tend to be an awful lot better than Qatar, who usually involve an overnight stop either there or back.

Have a wonderful holiday!

I've travelled on all three extensively.... Emirates is by far the best, followed closely by Gulf Air and Qatar.... I think on Emirates you would need to change in Dubai, I'm not sure they operate a direct service to Bankok... but Dubai airport is great!

i'm not Saudi yet i lived in Saudi for long term and that i could proceed dwelling there. anyhow Egypt and Gulf states are distinctive. human beings in Gulf are quite often high-quality with their governments. even if in the event that they don't look to be high-quality with that; the regime they are having are appropriate of their pastimes and a open minded and knowledgeable human beings of Gulf know approximately it. You cant even think of what chaos will a revolution will convey to Gulf it quite is going to ensue and that i wish it wont ensue ever. Gulf states are appropriate the way they are and to be trustworthy West is getting high-quality and used to the assumption of governments in Gulf states as I even have lived in West besides.

I've never been business class but I have flown with Emirates.
They were great-definatly worth it-I did the Bankok flight 4 times and it was very comfortable and the staff were helpful particularly in a crisis.

I used Etihad airlines when I flew into Bangkok last year. The service was great, and I would definately recommend them.
